Bishop Kearney Star Signs With Women's Soccer

The Red Barons women's soccer program is proud to welcome Carleigh Wallace, a midfielder from Bishop Kearney High School, to the program this fall.  Carleigh brings with her a maturity and high standard of leadership both on and off the field of play.  While at Bishop Kearney, Carleigh was a focal point in the midfield providing guidance and experience during her four years as a varsity starter.  During this time, Carleigh was a three year captain, named 1st team private/parochial twice, and an All-Greater Rochester honorable mention.  Carleigh also excels in the classroom with an impressive 4.0 GPA.  She competes for the Doug Miller Soccer Club and the Greece United Futbol Club.  When asked, Carleigh felt that Corning COmmunity College fit her best.  "The location is the perfect distance from home.  I was very comfortable when I visited campus and I think I definitely can create new opportunities for myself there."  The Red Barons look forward to having Carleigh on campus this fall and securing a strong midfield presence.
