Corning Red Barons Dominate with Double Victory on Saturday

The Corning Red Barons showcased their prowess on Saturday, securing two impressive victories against Herkimer and Mohawk Valley Community Colleges.

In their first match of the day, Corning faced off against Herkimer and emerged victorious in three hard-fought sets. The Red Barons' service game proved formidable, as they racked up a total of 16 service aces. Ruth Smith was instrumental in this aspect, contributing 5 aces and 17 assists. At the net, Lindsay Stratton and Maggie McClaren made their presence felt with 7 and 6 kills, respectively, and added 1 and 2 solo blocks.
